Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Rooms near the elevator should...

Liked: The location of the hotel is excellent, close to the Cathedral and the cozy Plaza Trinidad, where there are many different restaurants. The reception staff was polite
Disliked: The rooms are tiny, we were placed next to the elevator. Attempts to move were unsuccessful, the reception was too busy to pay attention to us. As a result, we did not sleep all night, first because of the noise of the working elevator, then because of the noise of plates in the restaurant (although it was already 2 am), and then because of the stifling heat (although April). The windows opened onto the inner courtyard of the hotel, fresh air did not come in. A sleepless night in the hotel spoiled the impression of the beauty of Granada

Disappointed

Liked: Location was perfect for shops, bars and restaurants.
Disliked: Incorrect instructions about parking cost us 30 minutes going around a one-way system. The hotel is old and in need of refurbishment. There's shabby chic and plain shabby. This falls into the latter category. Sadly, the pictures on the website did not reflect the room we had. Although spotlessly clean, there were many facets of the room which were poor. The safe didn't work and, although reported, nothing done and, in fact, told they never knew of anyone to use it. Really?? There were no plugs for the bath, sink or bidet and the plastic window covering was peeling away from the window. Handles were covered in verdigris - you get the picture.......
