Regatta Inn - Adults Only

Fantastic hotel. Would definitely recommend

Liked: The Poseidon suite was amazing. The room was spotless. We were on the top floor and it was worth it for the view over the river. the bed was so comfortable, there was a fan or air conditioning and a lovely balcony. We watched dolphins swim by. The staff were amazingly helpful. There were bikes to cycle into the centre or to the beach. Beach chairs and parasols were provided along with beach towels. Drinks and snacks were also available in the afternoon.
Disliked: I would have liked more toiletries in the room. I.e. bigger bottles of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Those supplied were very small and gone in a flash. A different choice of hot breakfast would have been nice.

Liked: A hidden gem. Quiet and pleasant. Staff was friendly.
Disliked: My check in was a little difficult. We booked after 6pm and arrived after 8. There were phone numbers to contact (ones on booking were incorrect)and I did get someone within 10min but they were unaware of my booking and then I was told my next night would be in a different room due to third party booking. Our second night stay was ok but we did not like having to switch rooms in the middle of our stay and waiting for a room to be cleaned. The staff was pleasant and professional and room was cleaned but I did not like the switch.

We will absolutely come back...

Liked: The breakfast was amazing and my wife and I were pleasantly surprised at how nice the accommodations were. We come to Folly Beach often and enjoyed the peace and serenity of the Regatta Inn as well as the surrounding natural beauty and wildlife.
Disliked: Our only complaint was that our small room refrigerator didn't work. Other than that there were no complaints.
