Liked: This location is a gem. Away from main strip which is quite loud and busy. The hostess during our stay was supreme. Her hospitality was above and beyond. The happy hour and breakfast service was lovely. Comfortable bed. Screened in porch. Our river view provided a lovely sunset. Bikes and towels provided. There is even a gold cart they will use to drop you off and pick up around Folly Beach.
Disliked: Only complaint is that the portable AC unit in the room provided temperature control, but is very noticeable when it turns off and on which interrupted sleep throughout the night.

Fabulous getaway in Folly Beach...

Liked: The facilities were top rate, luxurious for the most part. The view and location away from the most busy part of the island was great. The staff was the best, very friendly and super helpful, driving us places in the golf cart as needed.
Disliked: Only drawback was being a mile plus out of center of town where all the restaurants are so getting to a place to eat lunch or dinner was a bit of challenge and if we had a car as most did, the traffic could be tough and parking in town even worse. But you could walk if you were up for it and be driven by golf cart other than the evening.

Perfect extended weekend getaway

Liked: Beautiful property nestled along the river, just a short walk to the beach but far enough from the main area to avoid the summer crowds. Our room was stunning, with a lovely view of the river right off the main floor. The screened-in porch was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy both sunrise and sunset.
Disliked: The only downside, and it’s minor, is breakfast is served later than my husband and I are used to. We are early riser and are usually ready to be out and about by 8 AM. I will say that the team there is fabulous and there were days Where they tried to get it out sooner for the guest, which is amazing and says a lot about their culture and hospitality.

Liked: Outstanding in all regards! Highly recommend! Breakfast was fantastic, happy hour was wonderful! All staff members were terrific, especially Kim!!! Would definitely like to stay here again!

All the cleanliness and convenience...

Liked: Kim was there for the majority of our stay and she was AMAZING! We really enjoyed the breakfast and happy hour snacks. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. I was impressed with how quiet it was.We also really enjoyed the rooftop patio and the fact that there were board games provided.
Disliked: The fitted sheet wasn’t quite deep enough and popped off in the middle of the night, pretty much every night. There was also a large reddish stain on the mattress topper that I didn’t notice until our last day — it was not on my side of the bed and was usually covered by the fitted sheet. I would have asked for this to be replaced if I’d noticed.
