Liked: The location was convenient. Located part way between shopping centers, close to good food, and near the airport.The staff was nice and helped me when I asked to change rooms due to a bad smell.The rooms did appear to have good sound dampening. I was able to hear the planes entering and exiting the airport nearby but it was not anything I couldn't tune out and sleep through.On-site parking was nice because the hotel wraps around part of the lot and the fence wraps around the rest of the lot, only one entrance and exit location.
Disliked: Normally I don't write the bad things in my reviews, but since both rooms I encountered had multiple issues, I feel I should inform others so they know what to expect. The rooms do not appear to be maintained very well and the cleanliness was below my standards, but not bad enough I cancelled my stay there.The first room I was issued had a strange smell that I couldn't identify, the microwave was very worn out and in need of replacement, and the mini fridge smelled like rotten food when I opened it adding to the strange smell I couldn't place. I went to the desk right away and communicated this to the desk clerk and she found another room for me to stay in at the same cost.The second room I was issued had stains and tears in the carpet, the curtains had small holes in them, and I needed to use my shoulder to push the door shut enough to latch it and lock it. The beds were extra firm. That was not a bad thing but a little foam padding or something wouldn't have hurt. The lamp shades were all just sitting on the top of the lamp stand because the hardware designed to hold them on was damaged (likely from being knocked over multiple times) and one lamp shade was torn.Not sure if the pictures will show everything I have described here or not, but I attached pictures.
