Redcliffe Hotel

Exactly what we hoped for!

Liked: Super staff throughout...particulr praise for Ana-Marie.Restaurant served us well, with many gluten-free options available at both breakfast and dinner. We would describe this property as "Relaxed yet efficient".The hotel is close enough to the city centre for walking, but it is at the top of a hill overlooking the castle. The quickest way is up / down is 40+ steps ... The patio area and bar was a bonus, as the weather was hot and dry when we visited.We arrived into the city on the overnight Caledonian Sleeper train at 08:45 ... and we were able to drop-off our cases this early, giving us the extra time to explore.
Disliked: Nothing.

The room was disappointingly small...

Liked: Handy location not far from the centre of Inverness (5 mins walk, if you are ok with some flights of steps)Parking.
Disliked: Room was small room in a basement. Annoying lights outside at night (emergency exit?)
