A relaxing break in beautiful...

Liked: We had a lovely room with a sea view so even when the weather was not great , we could sit in comfortable chairs and look out across Lough Foyle. There was also a coffee machine in the room for a good cup of coffee. The food served in the bar and at breakfast was very good. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We both had spa treatments which were also very relaxing. The hotel is right on the shore and accessed by a long drive from the road alongside the the golf course which set the tone for the holiday. There is also a lovely little bar-restaurant next door which can be reached via a footbridge.
Disliked: The complimentary toiletries are a combined shower and hair gel in a dispenser which is much better for the environment but we had expected shampoo and conditioner.

Liked: Location is great, as are loch views. Restaurant food quality is good. Service is very friendly, prompt and helpful.
Disliked: Room charging from spa and bar was more complicated than it should have been if even allowed (spa for some reason couldn’t). We had a suite which I assumed would be seaside but actually overlooked the car park and was right over the outdoor patio for the bar so got a lot of second hand smoke and noise until late. Apparently the smaller rooms were seaside? It was quite warm both days and there is no air conditioning, which made it uncomfortably warm in the room until late. Window units in the rooms on the west side of the hotel could remedy that.
