Quirky chalet by the sea...
Liked: Set far enough back from the road to feel secluded, great sea view, short drive to Moville with cafes, restaurants, shops, scenic coastal walk, and ferry.Quirky interior design, loads of fascinating vintage items, magazines, books, old radios, games, toys ... there is also WiFi & connected TV. The chalet is comfortable & cosy with plenty of extra blankets, fluffy towels, airy duvets, comfy sofas & bathrobes.Kitchen & bathroom have all the basics, and well stocked with useful extras : bin bags, firelighters, bottle opener, shampoo etc...Hosts provided a bottle of prosecco, which was a lovely touch.
Disliked: Lovely outdoor decking area, however outdoor chairs were broken, luckily we'd brought our own camping chairs.Sleeping facilities were very comfortable however be aware that for 6 adults it's a tight squeeze. These are minor points, & outweighed by the good stuff.

Very poor
Liked: Available on short notice.
Disliked: Strong damp smell in the whole house that was there all the time despite of all windows and door open for most of the stay. Tried to contacted the owners on both numbers provided to cancell the stay because of the smell and below but got no reply on that day. Internet was not paid for the property, so WiFi was useless, and TV was not working as it is only operating with Internet connected. Did not use the bath as the paint in it is disintegrating. After a few days in the road with small kids, we were happy to find a place with all required amenities, but the house have not met the description from booking.com. Reading reviews of the house after the fact looks like we were not the first one to notice above.

A family weekend break.
Liked: The view from the house was spectacular! The owner, Elizabeth, is lovely and friendly. You are very close to Moville and Redcastle, which are lovely towns. If you want to go further, it's a 30-minute drive to Ballyliffin where there is a beautiful beach.

A beautiful hidden gem
Liked: I really liked the location of the property and the hominess of the property. It was really private with an amazing view of the sea through the sitting room. A great location to get away for a weekend if you are looking to say indoors and just relax.
Disliked: Id say my only con would be that Id have prefered a wall mounted shower and possibly a shower curtain in the bath.Besides that, everything else was great.

Superb
Liked: Nice location, great fully equipped house, barbeque space, sea view, clean. On option of self-check in, which is very convenient, if guests happen to arrive late.
Disliked: Heating is a bit tricky, internet wasn't working, however, we arrived relatively late, and didn't want to bother the host. Probably just a one-off incident, no points taken for that.
