Staff was super friendly. A little noisy due to renovation and layout of hotel, but worth the price and location is excellent.

Liked: Affordable and adequate.
Disliked: Under renovation.

Location great but facility needs...

Liked: Walking into the room was disappointing, bags of trash pushed under the stairwells, one room on ground level had trash, a tabletop grill and dirty boots piled up in front of the door. Area inside and out needed a refresh. There were spots all over the walls where touch up painting had been done that was a different sheen than underneath wall shade. It’s just an old building that could be kept up much better. Beds were very comfy and we slept well. But appearance of room and area could be improved. Back fence in parking area was partially knocked down and trashy looking. Just not an appealing presence. Check-in employee was very fun to talk to and the hotel was very close to Patriots Point which was our destination so that was great.

Good hotel for something on...

Liked: This was the first hotel I found on the fly because my booking from earlier in the day at different property came to a disgusting halt due to roaches, a dodgy elevator and a toxic chamber of Clorox. To begin, staff was great and made me and other customers feel at home. Then the ease of checking in was another great factor. The room itself was alright, small bathroom but it’s okay. Didn’t get to use the pool but was nice to have.
Disliked: I felt like the price for the night to stay there was a bit much for the amount of things it would offer. For that price, I was expecting a breakfast buffet at least. Also, I don’t think I should be making any assumptions but I think there’s a whole family living in one of the rooms at the place by the pool. It was really weird and a little annoying because they weren’t leaving the walkway free.

Liked: Location was very accessible and quick check in and out.
Disliked: The room was dirty, the carpets hadn't been vacuumed, and there were too many live and dead cockroaches walking around the room and inside the refrigerator.

Liked: Location was central between Charleston downtown and Sullivans island. No farther than 15 min to either spot.
Disliked: The hotel rooms smelled really bad. I had to change 3 times. They were accommodating at least. But it did not smell clean at all.
