Red Roof PLUS Jacksonville - Southpoint

Did not have one of our bookings. Took over an hour to check in because of this. Room had trash in the trash can.

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: Everything.

Never again!

Liked: Check out.
Disliked: Room wasn't ready by checkin; trash in front of my door when we first got to the room; front desk wasn't concerned about why I wanted the main office # to try to resolve anything. Not enough towels in the room. It felt like we were in the ghetto at a budget inn. Never again will I stay in a Red Roof Inn - I'd rather sleep in my car than receive poor service with my hard earned money.

Disliked: There wasn't any air on the 5th floor and the toilet are low to the floor.

Liked: Good hotel that gives you all the pleasantries of a typical overnight stay. Good for travelers who want comfort at a decent price. Don't expect luxury appointments but the hotel is clean and comfortable for a weekend stay.

Disliked: If smelled horrible like dogs and sheets wasn’t clean they give you one pillow the walls were dirty the doors were dirty the beds were uncomfortable never again

Liked: I really liked how kind the staff was. They were very accommodating.
Disliked: I didn’t like how hot it was inside of the lobby and hallways. The windows on the floors were opened, which added to the existing heat. There were also people smoking cigarettes and other substances in the hallways. My first room had blood stains on the bed, along with yellow stuff. But the staff did change my room without issue.
