Broken Elevator

Liked: Location was good close to restaurants and bars.
Disliked: The elevators were not working. We arrived around 4:40 pm and we had booked a king size bed that was already paid for. All of the rooms on the main floor were taken and we would of had to have a room on the 3rd floor and the elevator was down. We were told the only that could be done was the manager was willing to upgrade us to a double queen room on the second floor for free, which he said was a $40 upgrade. Well we we 2 seniors who didn't need 2 beds, we wanted the king, but couldn't manage the third floor. We were stuck since we already paid paid for our room at the time of booking and they knew it. We would have left for another hotel. We hobbled up the flight of stairs, all while the manger said you guys can do it. We have stayed at this hotel previously and never will again.

Liked: Simple room with niceties lime fridge, microwave, iron and blow dryer. First floor rooms are park right in front. 2nd and 3rd are accessed by interior hallway
Disliked: Elevator was broken

It’s nothing fancy but it...

Liked: Staff was friendly and the room was a good value.
Disliked: There was a large street lamp that shone directly into our window and even with the curtains closed it was a little bright inside while we were trying to sleep.
