Disliked: Room was not very clean. Beds were uncomfortable, both lamp shade were broken and 1 lamp was broken on the bottom. Smoke detector was missing from the ceiling, later found in night stand drawer.

Liked: Location was great
Disliked: I've stayed in worse. It needed a good cleaning, bedding could use some bleach and a good soak. Just some touch up here and there, it would be absolutely adorable. Beds to me were hard as hell, but everyone else liked them. Rented 3 rooms, each room had something that needed fixed.

Liked: This hotel was perfect for our trip to Freeland. It was close to where we wanted to go. The hotel was clean and the staff was great. We will definitely stay here again.

Thought it would be better

Disliked: The lock plate in the door frame was missing it was just a hole so the door wiggled a lot and we had to put a folded piece of paper in between the door the frame to keep the door from moving. There was dirt on the floor and trash found behind the beds and couch. Lights were very dim. Missing either lights or fire alarms in ceiling. Paint peeling in the bath tub. Soap dispensers were empty. One of the closet doors was broken and just leaning in the closet. The door to the balcony had a broken shade on it. The balcony had left over pieces of wood from something just left sitting on the side. The windows did not open. The pictures online were misleading.

Disliked: Room was dirty, floors were dirty, bug crawling on the floor by the door, mattress under the sheets were dirty, shower leaked and sprayed all over the place when filled the tub to bathe, outdated curtains and accessories. Rusty door and room needed painting.

This hotel was very rundown....

Liked: The people at the front desk were pleasant and professional
Disliked: We didn't like anything!!When we drove up the place looked rather deserted but we decided to take a chance and went into the lobby of the front building. The condition of the lobby was adequate so we proceeded to check in. Once we checked in we were given a map of the property and told to drive around back to Building D. That seemed rather odd, in that the rooms weren't part of the main building, but we followed the instructions and drove around back. We found a low building that looked more like a dormitory than a hotel but we were still determined to check in, because we had an important event to attend in town the next day. There was only one car parked outside the long building and the windows were all caked in dust. We opened the door of "our" room and were greeted with a strong odor. The furniture in the room was very dated and the tiles in the shower were very stained. The room was on the first floor and there was no security; no hotel staffer on site. As two single women, we did not feel safe with those accommodations and decided to return to the check-in desk.We told the women at the front desk that we could not stay in a room that had such a strong smell and that was located so far from the main building. At that point, one of the women apologized and said that that room had had a leak and we should not have been put in that room. She offered to put us in another room but we did not want to take the chance that any room in that dusty, distant building would be any better.We asked for a refund, left, and found a better place to stay. We are still waiting for our refund to be processed.
