Disliked: There's $100 deposit after you've already booked the room and paid for the room you still have to give them $100 when you check in they give it back to you the next morning provided you didn't smoke in the room or break anything

Liked: Really the only thing is place has going for it is that it’s close to highway, even though it’s cheap it’s not worth it.
Disliked: The whole place seemed very sketchy, the outside was very worn down and as soon as you entered the lobby there was a very odd smell. The staff wasn’t impolite but also not very welcoming. The room itself was borderline terrible. First look wasn’t too bad but the more I looked around the dirtier it was. The smell in the room was even worse than the lobby, I thought I’d get used to it eventually and I was wrong. While using the bathroom I saw a rather large bug crawling along the counter, I did not go back into the bathroom for the rest of my stay. Just as I was going to sleep I saw another darker bug crawl up the wall by the desk, upon further inspection there were at least 4-5 bugs crawling around. I barely got any sleep because I was so paranoid about the bugs. I checked out as soon as possible and there was no employee anywhere to be seen so I had to leave my key on the desk and just leave.

This is our preferred hotel...

Liked: This is a great location! Right off I-70 and a supermarket with immediate access. Fast food is nearby. Easy access to I-70 as well. The staff is very professional and friendly. This is our third year in a row at this Red Roof Inn! We drive further to get to this hotel.
Disliked: The refrigerator is old and needs the compressor replaced.

Liked: Very nice room. Loved that my kitty could stay for free!
Disliked: Perhaps some pastries to go with the coffee?

Bad

Disliked: Checked in and checked right back out. I don’t think this place has ever been cleaned. Front desk staff would not give us extra bedding (ours was full of stains). Everything smells awful here. Turned on the light in the bathroom and watched a bunch of cockroaches scramble. Asked for a refund since we had been there maybe 2 hours, but haven’t seen that in my bank account yet. Whatever already low expectations you have for this place, take it and lower it significantly more.
