Pass on this one!

Liked: Location by the mall and businesses.
Disliked: Not very clean, not kept up well, and warm. Room AC was ok. Beds were ok but only had two pillows per bed and they were super flat. Strange activity outside at all times. Didn't feel very safe.

Felt not welcomed!

Liked: Location easy accessible, Swimming area!
Disliked: I had no cable during my stay at this location and had to make my own entertainment and I asked to get a refund, they acted like I wasn't serious, the shower head had some issues of opening up due to lack of pressure and cleaning staff tried to force themselves in my room while showering which was 3 1/2 hours before check of which luckily I had the security lock set and when I asked was it possible to get a discount on my stay or an upgrade on my next stay, nothing was offered. I am a government employee who was kind of on business , but actually came to Wichita to see my grandchildren, so this was not my first stay at this location. The staff before this episode were very courteous and good willed, should have kept the prior team.

Don't waste your time.

Liked: Location is right across the street from the mall. The pool is nice and they do have security.
Disliked: The area is full of crackheads and prostitutes. Some of them stay at the hotel. Don't feel safe about my vehicle in the parking lot. Or kids in the pool. There was a lot of people in the pool. It was too crowded so we never swam.

Grosssss

Liked: It had a roof, and the pool was the only nice thing about the entire place.
Disliked: The room we reserved online was poolside, but he tried to stick us up on the 5th floor. Keys did not work to the 5th floor room. So he moved us to the poolside room, finally. Keys worked initially, but 30 minutes later they no longer worker. Had to get them reprogrammed. The toilet seat was broken, plumbing backed up into the sink every time the toilet flushed, towels were absolutely filthy, no cable but they said "they discounted room prices to account for it", which they did not. Awful place, awful stay.

A place to sleep

Disliked: No tv, really noisy, squeaky bed, and air-conditioning needs work

Liked: Extremely Disappointing Stay – Unsafe, Unclean, and Misleading Advertising
Disliked: We flew in from Canada and chose to stay at the Red Roof Inn Plus in Wichita, Kansas — and unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had.Right from the start, the area surrounding the hotel felt unsafe. It’s surrounded by visible homelessness and drug activity, which was unsettling after arriving in a new city. At check-in, we were told that the cable was out. After a long flight, this was extremely annoying. You expect basic amenities to be in working order, and this was just the beginning of the problems.We were placed on the fifth floor, where we found a ceiling leak dripping directly onto the carpet. There was no bucket, just a wet floor and a strong smell of mildew and urine throughout the hallway. When we entered our room, the odor was so awful and the condition so dirty that we walked right back out and asked to be moved.Our second room, though less smelly, wasn’t much better. It was still unclean and clearly neglected. Over the course of our three-night stay, we saw police on the property multiple times. Loud yelling, arguments, and general disturbances went on well into the night, making it very difficult to sleep. The pool was also filthy and absolutely nothing like what was shown in the online photos.This hotel was a massive disappointment. The pictures are incredibly misleading, the environment is not safe, and the rooms are in terrible shape. We strongly recommend staying elsewhere — this was a truly awful experience we wouldn’t wish on any traveler.

Liked: Pool and hot tub, it’s a tropical vibe. Loved all the plants
Disliked: Nothing in the gym worked

Hidden gem with from an...

Liked: Honestly a quiet and clean room in a centralized location in wichita. A place i could lay down at night and recharge. Has a pool and sauna , has free wifi , decent coffee the stuff you expect. Price is absoloutly a steal for a qucik trip.
Disliked: Cable was out and I came in during riverfest / graduation weekends for highschools and colleges in the area. So satuarday night parking was limited.
