Delivers on the Red Roof...

Liked: Every Red Roof offers a pretty similar experience- a dressed-down but serviceable room with the requisite amenities (TV, fridge, shower, safe, Internet) to acceptable cleanliness at a very affordable price. This one follows suit. Stay at one for a simple and largely hands-off experience. This one in particular is conveniently close to the airport and Old Town Alexandria. A bit less convenient (15~20 minutes by car) for those of you trying to go to National Harbor.
Disliked: The entrance to the property is on one side of a divided road, which is horribly annoying. Any other complaints (i.e. negative bathroom ambiance, disappointing television) are endemic to Red Roof's brand and not emblematic of this branch in particular.

Liked: There was no breakfast, the first room they put us in smelled like Marijuana. We were moved to a new room.

Excellent stay!!

Liked: The location was perfect for access to the metro. The staff was polite and professional. The room was clean and good sized. Good deal for the money for sure! Having a fridge and microwave made up for no breakfast. Easy enough to bring our own breakfast foods. More then accommodating about having a rented mobility scooter dropped off day early and left sitting in the lobby for 36 hours, also allowed us to leave it there when we departed for the rental company to come pick up.
Disliked: It was perfectly fine...no complaints at all

Disappointing

Liked: I experienced being bit by a bed bug while I was sleep.in the hotel room. This has never happened to me. I have reached out through email to speak with someone about this incident, but no one has contacted me. I'm looking into getting help from another source.
Disliked: I got bit in bed.

Liked: It was clean and the area was nice will stay again!!
