Whale festival

Liked: Right off of I-10 close to shopping and plenty of restaurants. Beaches 20 minutes away.
Disliked: No refrigerator or microwave in the room.

Liked: The beds was comfortable
Disliked: Another guest opened our door with a their key card as myself (female), my mother, and my 3 babies were getting ready. Luckily the inside hinge was shut so it didn’t open all the way. At that point I didn’t even finish getting ready. We just hurried up got our stuff and decided to leave. When I told the front desk before we left he was rude about it and made it out to be like I was a liar. The only question he asked was what color was the man that opened the door. When I said we were unable to see the color of the man we just heard his voice due to the inside hinge being locked. He immediately was like that didn’t happen if you can’t tell me what color he was. He didn’t apologize nothing.

Disliked: nobody to clean rooms. bed matress was wore completely out as was the pillows had no "fluff at all. needless to say we had two nights of no sleep at all. finally we go to check out at the front desk and entry door is locked with a note saying will be back in 15 min. so me and my wife sit in the car and in 15 min. he arrives at the office and we finally check out. i will consider this a lesson learned, as for this family red roof inn is off my list.

Liked: I was never checked in even for this reservation although I still was charged a damage deposit and not accommodated for this stay
Disliked: I got charged for a damage deposit and was not even accommodated like I was told I would be since I didn't get two prior damage deposits back totaling in 100 dollars and still got charged for another one for this stay and didn't even stay it was very upsetting

Liked: What I liked about was it was clean, reasonable and comfortable to stay there. However I have still not gotten my damage deposit back of 50 dollars and I cleaned the room before I left so I don't understand why that is and that's the only thing I was upset about.
