It's not the Red Roof...

Liked: Room was updated and very clean. No carpeting on the room floors, which I love, more sanitary. The bedding appeared to be new and was very nice to the touch. The pillows were fluffy and comfy. I like the self-dispense soap and shampoo units in the shower.The staff, all of the staff, were very friendly and helpful. It's been a long time since I've interacted with such pleasant and caring hospitality staff.
Disliked: I wish they had a microwave in the room, but they do have one for use in the community breakfast area off the lobby.

Good place for a short...

Liked: Location was great. Room was clean. Staff who checked me in was very nice and helpful.
Disliked: Bed could have been a bit more comfortable.
