It was ok for a...
Liked: They require a $100 deposit (in addition to your booking) when you arrive on site. First room we were given, the door lock light didn’t work and the vanity light in the bathroom area didn’t work. At first, the front desk clerk didn’t seem to understand why it was a problem that the light above the mirror (where people fix their hair or put on makeup, etc) didn’t work and it didn’t seem like he wanted to move us but, we were given a different room, which was ok. I found the mattresses to be very uncomfortable and I was so sore and stiff I could barely walk the next day. There are two ice machines on property and both had signs stating that they were broken but we could come to the front desk to PURCHASE drinks. Don’t expect to eat if you don’t get down to breakfast when they open because there won’t be any food and the coffee will be cold (luckily there is a Waffle House very close). Overall, the place was ok for a budget hotel but if you are going to make me pay a $100 deposit to protect you if I break or steal anything, then I expect that basic things like lights and ice machines will be working when I get there.

Scared and unsafe
Liked: Nothing if im being honest. I’ve never stayed at a hotel and felt so unsafe. I left immediately after this incident.
Disliked: My stay at Red Roof Inn was deeply disturbing due to a significant breach of my privacy. On Sunday, March 23,2025, I was in my room, [Rm# 110], and an employee observed me while I was undressed on my bed. He was telling us it was past checkout but I had already got approved to stay till 1pm due to late check in. I asked him multiple times to shut the door cause I was naked and he just kept standing there for what seemed like forever. This incident left me feeling extremely violated and unsafe. It is unacceptable for hotel staff to intrude on guests' privacy in this manner. I am deeply concerned about the lack of security and respect for guest boundaries at this establishment.I urge the hotel management to investigate this incident thoroughly and take appropriate action to ensure the safety and privacy of their guests. I expect a response addressing how they will prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel unless they can demonstrate a serious commitment to guest security and privacy."

Disliked: Terrible customer service and room was dirty including sink, toilet and shower. Bed and pillows were horrible. Worst night of sleep for my husband I. Only stayed one night out of 2 nights booked.

Liked: The location and lack of pet fee
Disliked: Parking lot was a hazard, the room was left open and dirty, very noisy road, no lights in the bathroom, mold on the ceiling, broken lampshades, just really bad condition for a room, beds were uncomfortable

Liked: The guy at the counter was super nice! The business felt family owned and I like that.
Disliked: The construction going on across the street and in the area, but that has nothing to do with the property. It just made it tricky getting in and out a couple times.
