Red Roof Inn Hartford - New Britain

Not worth it

Liked: This was the only hotel walking distance to the Polish Festival which was the purpose of our trip
Disliked: The neighborhood was a bit seedy. A lot of vagrants around which made it uncomfortable at night. The hotel locks all side doors so you can only use the main entrance. The room with the vending machine is locked and you need to request a key from the front to use them. The room wasn't terrible at first. A little dirty but nothing horrible until the next morning when we saw roaches in the bathroom. That is disgusting. We left behind any food we had purchased, shook out our clothing and got the heck out of there. We will never come back here.

Liked: The location that’s literally it, was easy to get where I needed to be.
Disliked: EVERYTHING ! Dirty, dirty & dirty.

Disliked: The lady at the front desk was rude and wasn't listening to anything I was trying to tell her about my stay. She was definitely ill experienced when it comes to dealing with the public I wish I remembered her name but I don't forget a face I work in customer service and I definitely know the difference between someone who wants a check and someone who likes their job. she definitely wasn't a pero who even liked people . And I didn't get my deposit back

Liked: they tried to scam me by saying i never checked in had security walk in while i was in the shower with my girl friend and then they proceeded to say that one of there staff member marked me as a no show and they tried renting out my room nd never got back my deposit
