Don't Book Here ! Stay...

Liked: The bed was ok. It was comfortable. The lady who checked us in was nice and tried to support or request of getting us a room with out smell of dog piss an mass amount of dog hair.
Disliked: The first room smelled of dog piss. All surface areas were covered in dog hair. The bed comforter was stained and covered in hair. I understand this was pet friendly hotel. I didn't expect this. Asked to be moved to a room that was less pet friendly. The lady said it would cost and extra $65.00 for an upgrade since we booked with booking.com. I asked her to call her boss. She did and she said he told her that there was nothing she could do. I asked to be moved to a new room in with in the same room type I paid for. She said she could not promise me it would be any better. Got moved form 109 to 105. Room smelled better. Had 2 issues with room. The toilet stopped filling with water. The shower was super hot. The shower was danger to the point of burning someone. The shower mixer was not working right. Was not able to cool down water with the cold side of shower. Did not call front desk because we had all ready complained about first room. Did want any retaliation with my stuff in room while not in room. Used trash can to fill tank. Filled bath tub with hot water and used sink to add cold water from sink. Told front desk about issues upon check out. I would stay away from this hotel at all cost. Grand Junction has many great hotels.

Disliked: Dirty wash cloth left in shower when I got there. Parking and facility all fenced in… felt more like a holding facility. Had to wait 15 minutes for someone at the front desk to appear and check me in. Bathroom in the lobby was shabby, and the one soap dispenser it had was empty. I told the housekeeper who had been there cleaning it and the front desk person interrupted to tell me that it was her job, not the housekeeper to put soap in the men’s room? Not going to stay there again.

Liked: Was there a breakfast?
Disliked: There were bugs in bed. No refrigerator. The staff was not available or able to help us with our concerns about the property. It is near the Railroad and a very busy road that has alot of unwanted sounds. We were so unnerved by the experience that may husband health was bad. We ended leaving the property at 1:30 in the morning because we were so uncomfortable.
