Disliked: The photo on the website is fake. The rating on the website is fake. The positive reviews are fake. The bed linen is dirty and torn. The towels are dirty. The smell in the room is terrible. And cockroaches.

Nice clean comfortable rooms and...

Liked: Room was nice and clean. Mini fridge with freezer was good, though the freezer didn't fully freeze the liter bottles of water that we put in it. Beds were comfy and there was no carpet (which is how we prefer it). Air quality was great (we use a room air filter machine which indicates how clean the air is). The humidity was good, too, unlike some other motels in the area where the air is moist and everything feels sticky. Mini coffee maker in the room is nice even though we didn't use it on this visit. They also have free coffee and juices in the lounge area 24 hours a day. Belvita biscuits and granola bars in the lounge for breakfast, but no fruit.
Disliked: No way to turn on the bathroom vent without also turning on the lights. Also, the location is a little inconvenient to get to off the highway. It's off a divided road and you can't just turn left or make a u-turn. You have to make a right and three lefts to get to the side of the road where the motel is. Sink is a little low and the faucet is far back, but it still works fine.

Liked: Check in was seamless. Efficiently executed. Much needed for the impromptu stay just to get off the highway in torrential rain conditions we experienced that night.

Liked: Red Roof Inn in Fredericksburg is an economy choice that delivers. Nothing fancy here, but if you want an inexpensive room with reasonable comfort, here it is. The A/C worked great, which was great on a 100 degree day!
