Bad
Liked: Easy check in --good water pressure for shower
Disliked: we are not hard to please customers--we ask for cleanliness--that's it BUT--The room was filthy. We stayed for a concert in town. We checked in hurriedly and didn't properly inspect the room (big mistake--won't happen again) until we got back to the room late that night and if it had not been for the late hour and a long way to travel back home we would have left! The floor was sticky and nasty as was the table we literally had to clean the table before we could even eat a snack. I opened the fridge to put our drinks in and it was not even working! Old (looked like butter packets in the fridge and it had not been on in a while because of the smell and the fridge was covered in mold! The microwave was dirty, the hair dryer did not work, black electrical tape holding up sink counter, and bath tube faucet leaking and there was a dead roach in the tub. I do have pics, the electrical outlets to charge the phone did not work. The room was $70--which is a good price for a decent room but this was NOT! Highly dissatisfied--would never stay there. Sadly, this room would keep me from ever staying with a Red Roof Inn again

Disappointing
Liked: The room was really quite filthy.The floors, walls had hair various splashes of what could be food to human dna.Sheets were disgusting.There were many different hairs and what appeared to be yellow nasal discharge on the mattress pad.The cleaning personnel, although friendly, uses the mop as their cane, leaning on it the concrete between rooms. There was no bucket of cleaner….just a mop that went from room to room?Nasty…Seemed like most guests were there for work so it was very quiet which was nice. Front desk and cleaning attendants were friendly.

Paid twice.
Liked: The hotel itself was fine, some minor issues but normally expected for a budget stay.
Disliked: I was charged twice! I pre-paid for this booking then was charged again when I arrived. I asked for a receipt several times so I could raise this with booking.com but I still haven't been sent one. Edited addition: I have noticed that I have had a response - to be clear I had made several attempts to request a receipt from the hotel so that I could dispute this issue with booking.com. I am unable to raise this issue without proof of the fact I had made a purchase. I requested a receipt of my payment (which I had to do on site) by phone call, email and through booking.com communications and I have been ignored. If you could please send me a receipt then I will gladly remove this review, thanks.

Liked: Close to the highway
Disliked: The door didn't lock. Staff didnt seem to think that was a problem. There were wine stains on the sheets and wall, neither had been cleaned. I should have left but I was so exhausted. I didn't bring anything inside. Slept in my clothes and almost left them behind. Nothing had been cleaned for many guests. Also, the door didn't lock. Just wanted to make that clear. Was not going to leave a review, but I got a request to do so by email, so, they literally asked for it. No, you could not pay me to stay at another Red Roof.

Disliked: When they gave our rooms away they said it wasn’t their problem. And hung up.
