Red Roof Inn Columbus East- Reynoldsburg, Brice

The only problems I encountered in my stay was that I had to call the front desk several times (in a 8 hr time period) and remind them I needed towels because I did not receive fresh towels from the maid service. When I called they had "ran out of towels". I then called the next morning and I was instructed to track down a maid and get towels in this manner.

Disliked: The had a gap at the bottom the door heating cover was off some. the bedspread was dirty and thin . The room was small There's $100 deposit for a non-smoking room. You get it back in 3 days to 5 days.shower water had rust color no wash towels.

Liked: The room was marginally clean, no bed bugs. The staff was very polite. I got back my surprise $100 deposit that I had no choice but to pay. It took a couple of days, but I got it back.

I did get it back two days later, but the crimp of funds ended my shopping that I had otherwise intended to do.The room's heater sounded like a 747 taking off--every three minutes. I timed it. All night long.It would much simpler to describe the location of the Red Roof Inn in Reynoldsburg as "in the hood." Entertaining fist fights and screaming in the parking lot to all hours--right in front my room, was interesting. The sirens (of all sorts) from the I70 freeway, just a few hundred yards away, provided another sounding board. But I would say that the local gun fire was the icing on the cake. "Pop pop", flashing lights, sirens, screams, rinse, repeat. The "Hood" should be in the descriptor for the Red Roof Inn. It is what it is.I probably should have gone on up the road and slept in the car. I would have been in a better environment.
