Disliked: 1) I had to call 3 times to check the reservation - the first two times the desk person said he had no record of the reservation or name. I booked the room for a director od education from Zambia. I gave his name and my name on the bill. The desk clerk could not find the reservation until I kept insisting I had a confirmation.2) When checking out, the staff made me go to the room with them to make sure I had not destroyed anything. I understand if you need to check before signing someone out but it is rude and insulting to force the person to go with the staff. In future, just tell the person checking out to wait a moment then come pack and finish the check out, not take him up like a potentially bad child.

Disliked: This picture was taken 30 years ago. It was so run down and looked like a bunch of homeless people were living there. They gave us a room on second floor and said they didn't have elevator.

Disliked: When I reserved the room, it did not mention anything about it being a smoking room. We reserved it 30 minutes before we arrived and we were told it was the last room available. I am highly allergic to cigarette smoke so we asked for our deposit back. They said we needed to cancel 24 hours in advance. We reserved 30 minutes in advance. How could we cancel under those terms? Would not refund our $$$. Would not let us speak to mgt. Very argumentative. Refused to make any adjustments even though their advertising was false. Don’t do business with them.
