Liked: the room was kept clean daily and towels changed. the thermal heating was grand. the mineral pool a bonus.

Liked: Pleasant greeting on arrival. Grand children loved the pool. Good shower pressure. You can see owners are trying to improve facilities but lack expert help.
Disliked: Once it would of been a lovely little motel but unkept grounds and lack of maintenance made it feel third world.

Liked: I' love the bed it was comfortable..It was nice and clean in the inside...But we have to look for carpark not plenty car space in the area

Underwhelming

Liked: The thermal pool and towels were provided. Free wifi and smart tv. Heater works.
Disliked: Cleanliness. Hanging mirrors were crooked. Cockroaches underneath couches, running along the floor. Blankets were not great nor were the pillows. Leftover fake nails from last occupants were left in the drawers. No courtesy milk.

not like the photos anymore

Liked: The mineral pool spa was really nice.The strong heating made up for the poor insulation of the unit.The parking spots were spacious even for modern cars.The staff was friendly, even when not always helpful.
Disliked: The place must have been a gem at the time of the photos provided. Unfortunately it is quite worn down now, not up to price point at all. The sofa and chairs were badly scratched, the outside chairs rusty, the floor was sticky.The unit had thin walls and and the single pane windows didn't shut tight. Overall it had little sound proofing and temperature insulation.The fire alarm in our room started its battery warning beep at night. We mentioned it to a member of staff in the morning and they agreed to resolve the issue. Next night, it beeped again. When we mentioned it the next morning at check out, they simply said, it didn't beep when they checked, so they didn't have to do anything.During the daily service, one room was left out. The amenities were lacking compared to other NZ motels.
