Amazing staff and a wonderful...

Liked: The staff was amazing as always! From the moment you show up, the valet is helpful, courteous and a wealth of information. The Bellhops were accommodating. The front desk staff was excellent as always. The location was excellent. It was literally three blocks from where my event was.
Disliked: The housekeeping didn’t do as well as they should. There was a shirt left on the floor from the previous occupant. The handle to the tub came off as soon as we tried to use it. I’m surprised they miss that when they were cleaning. For a room set up for two people, there was a shortage of towels and robes. We had to get more. The hotel is showing some wear but it should have been cleaned better.

I didn’t receive the room...

Liked: The room was functional. Check-in was straightforward.
Disliked: I booked a room with a city view. At check-in, I was told the room “doesn’t really have a view” and no alternative was available. Booking in advance made no difference. No compensation offered.
