Liked: 200 year old pub with quaint features.
Disliked: My daughter’s room had a very low ceiling and tiny dressing table.Our shower fitting needed repair.

Liked: I chose not to eat/have breakfast as I was visiting relatives in the area so cannot vouch for that but the menu & facilities were very good.The bar was eclectic and interesting and the ales available were good.Very clean.Amazing outdoor space.The owners/staff were fantastic and friendly !
Disliked: My single room was in an attic space and very low ceiling height (6ft) but adequate - just dont try standing in the shower !Parking on the street only !

Liked: Great food, friendly staff. Room was bigger than expected (low ceilings which would be an issue for taller people but fortunately not me).

The red lion was everything...

Liked: The pub had a real sense of community. It has been there a long time and the building is old with a lot of character. The owners have decorated the pub and the rooms keeping a sense of the history. It was also bright and welcoming. The bedding was good quality. It was very comfy very clean and there was everything there we needed.
