Red Lion Hotel Portland Airport

We were quite late checking in. I called at 11:00 pm to apologize for late arrival. The front desk clerk was very friendly, assuring me he was early awaiting our arrival. We were given helpful suggestions/directions for a late dinner. After we returned and had gone up to our room, the front desk clerk called to let us know that the hotel driver had noticed our dome light was on. Saved us a dead battery! I will return whenever I have need for a hotel in Portland.

Liked: Friendly staff; very comfortable beds.
Disliked: None, really.

Location and price worked for...

Liked: Convenience to the airport and the price.
Disliked: The hallway to our room was very warm. The ac in the room rattled. The airport shuttle drove right by us at the airport pickup spot. When reporting this to dispatch we got a little attitude, like it was our fault.

Overall a good stay.

Liked: Shuttle to airport, comfortable room
Disliked: Staff mistakenly scheduled shuttle at 4am and called when I didn’t show up, waking me up at 4am.

Liked: Toilet broke didn’t flush, black mold in tub area

Liked: The location is good, close to the Airport parking lots.
Disliked: The hotel is run-down, dark, and has an unpleasant smell. The carpets are dirty, and the furniture is old and worn out. The cleaning ladies did their best to make the room comfortable, and the bathroom was clean, but the whole place needs a remodel.

Liked: Location was great, near the airport
Disliked: I got an automated email from the property saying if I wanted to leave my car there for a flight I would have to make a separate reservation when I tried to make that separate reservation and they kept trying to link it to my room reservation and kept telling me they couldn't change my reservation to keep my car there while I flew out.. had to leave my car at a more expensive park and ride lot

Liked: I would rank this stay as 5/5.
Disliked: Staff could be friendlier. Second floor was quite the upgrade from the 1st floor I stayed in previously. would recommend. There is a blinking street light in the parking lot that needs to be dealt with. Its been strobing for months, since my visit from a year ago?

Last night in PNW,disappointed

Liked: Front desk was helpful and friendly.
Disliked: we had to change rooms because the tv didn't work. I paid over $130 and even when we did change to another room that TV had issues. It was a double queen bedroom and one of the beds was broken?
