Liked: Restaurant on site. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Room very cold on arrival. Took extended time to warm. At night needed extra blanket. Staff very helpful.

Clean and quiet.
Liked: Comfortable and quiet.
Disliked: It was upsetting not to have a coffee maker in the room. That?s a must for me rather than being forced to go to the restaurant later. For a pet friendly place there is no nice designated area to take your dog to. You have to choose a bush in the landscaping or walk in the mud.

This Lion Is No King
Liked: - Great freeway access, easy on/off
- Close to everything; food (Shari's, Red Lobster), gas, shopping (mall is on the opposite side of the freeway but easily accessible), Safeway, Starbucks, etc.
Disliked: - Somewhat less than professional front-desk staff compared to other Red Lion properties - Neither of the keys I initially received would work to access the building or the scanner wasn't working properly - not sure which, but I had to return to the front desk at which point I simply requested a room in a different area of the hotel. - The 2nd room was ok, simple decor that was suitable but clean. However, when I went to open the curtains to check the location of my vehicle, I discovered they were completely worn and shredded. - Housekeeping was banging on the door at 9am. While I was already dressed and in the process of preparing to depart by 9:30, I was advised that the manager requires staff to start cleaning early and that if I didn't want to be bothered, I should have put the Do Not Disturb sign on the door. Have never had this experience at any other hotel before - if this is specific to this hotel or even this Red Lion location, it should be clearly indicated on Booking site as well as advised at check-in. Rude, sarcastic staff is never appropriate or acceptable in what is supposed to be the "hospitality" industry. - As a female traveling alone, I did not feel particularly safe here.
