Ehhh, spend the extra money...

Liked: The front desk was very friendly and welcoming. The outdoor pool was nice. Loved that they were playing music.
Disliked: It's old and musty, the room is very dark, even with having every light on. The fan in the bathroom did not work, the shower drain was clogged and to top it off, went to make coffee in the morning and the entire Keurig machine was full of mold (see picture). Not a little bit of mold, a lot. Under the bathroom sink also looked moldy. So grossed out. The arcade machine to get a card wasn't working, notified front desk and we went to dinner. When we came back the machine was working but half the games did not. Don't waste your money! The vending machine charged us $10 for a $2.50 soda. Hershey Park was about 20 minutes away. We chose this hotel because of the good reviews, the outdoor pool and arcade...seemed like a good deal. Lesson learned, spend a little more for a Hershey hotel.

Liked: Everyone at this property was very friendly and very helpful. It is old so there is a slight musty smell in the common areas that they are really trying to cover. Everything is a little dated but I found the beds to be very comfortable we did have to make our own pull out sofa bed for my daughter and that mattress could definitely be replaced it was very very thin I would not count on that as a bed for an adult unless you're bringing a topper with you. We had a family suite and the rooms were very spacious. The pools were immaculate they were so clean even the indoor pool. Some of the lounge chairs had missing slots on them which wasn't an issue because there was not that many people there during our stay but could become a big problem if it gets crowded. There were plenty of towels but again it was not that crowded. Walls are thin because the building is old. Just know you are getting a very family friendly stay with plenty of space but it is dated I say it's good for the money but I wouldn't want to spend all my time in the room.

Disliked: This hotel was the dirtiest that I’ve ever stayed in. I travel often. Reviews were great, especially for cleanliness. Shower curtain was put on backwards, and would no stay closed during showers do to the type of bar. Blow dryer and sinks were filthy and rusty. There was trash in our room from a prior stay. The curtains were also very dirty (had to open to go to patio). Beds were hard, and pull out couch looked like it hadn’t been cleaned.

We recommend you not stay...

Liked: The location and pool was decent.
Disliked: The overall appearance throughout is very dated and in need of retouching. The tile ceilings are oddly low giving the hall and room a claustrophobic feel.Our biggest complaint is that early in the morning, a good 4+ hours before checkout, we were woken by the distinct and obvious sound of vermin, most likely rats, walking across/above the ceiling tiles, probably returning inside to some nesting place to sleep. Wife and I were disgusted, got up hours before our alarm was set to sound, and left with far too little sleep than we'd paid for, literally listening to them continue to traverse the room as we were gathering our things.I'm a reasonable person, and I had no interest in demanding anything like a refund, etc. All I wanted to do is communicate the "rude awakening" to the staff when checking out. While I probably should have asked for a manager, I mentioned to the regular desk clerk "you do realize you have a rodent problem, don't you?" Without even giving me eye contact, with a smug grin, replied "did you actually SEE one?" Now, THIS is the point in which I got actually ticked off, by the dismissal out of hand. I gave him a couple more specifics about how I know what we heard, and was about to invite him back to the room for a listen for himself, but he was just shrugging me off. I just handed him the key cards and walked off without an ounce of respect.He probably thought I was winding up for an attempt to get out of paying, and I never did or ever was interested in this. I only wanted a morsel of concern for a very real and serious issue. The truth is I should have fought for compensation, but decided to bring it to the reviews here instead.Just be warned.

Disliked: I don't feel like I got a good deal through booking.com. I booked an extra night through the hotel and it was $100 cheaper through them. I won't use your services again because it is not a bargain. My ratings above is for the hotel only.

Nice and easy

Liked: Having 2 king beds plus rollout was super. Not many hotels offer that.
Disliked: Room paint and general condition was clearly old and needed rejuvenation.

Excellent service

Liked: The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant with all our accommodations and needs.
