Red Lion Hotel Coos Bay

Probably will not stay again....

Liked: Not much. Not much to it. We passed on it.
Disliked: Bathroom.

Would not choose to stay...

Liked: Staff were great. Location was good.
Disliked: No one came to empty the garbage daily or to tidy up the room. The smell outside came from a sewage facility up the hill.

Superb

Average but the staff and...

Liked: We always stay because it is quiet and the parking works for a truck and trailer. The staff at the front desk were welcoming and happy.
Disliked: Hair in the ice bucket, urine on the bottom backside of the toilet. Shower made a weird noise when you turned it on and it was kinda hard to figure out the temps.

Disliked: This property could use a refresh. Remove or clean the carpets.

Liked: By the time we got there for breakfast items, the selection was limited. Should have been restocked as the morning went on.

Former Glory

Liked: The beds were soft and the rooms were spacious. There was plenty of parking. It looks like at one time this hotel was very lively and well kept. The front office was in a circular building which housed a defunct hotel restaurant and convention rooms - which was like a Retail Archeology episode.
Disliked: A bunch of inconvenientl things. The "breakfast" was a refrigerator with bottled juice, yogurt and a frozen breakfast sandwich. The pool and spa were broken. The first room they gave me the ac didnt work and the other room the door wouldn't open correctly.
