Poor - 0.5 out of 5

Disappointing.

Liked: The location was close to Starbucks, fast food restaurants and the freeway
Disliked: The hotel smelled musky, the whole building was dark. The furnishings in the hotel looked dated and like it was under construction. There were broken windows, missing switch plates, the mattress in the bedroom wasn't covered, the floors in the bedroom felt dirty. The pool was dirty. There were hairballs in the pool. Dog footprints, wet, next to the pool. Garbage outside and visible from all windows. The "continental breakfast" was just pastries and everything in the crowded space the food was set up in was dark and looked dirty.

Disappointing

Liked: Breakfast is terrible. There’s no coffee multiple times. Basically you could choose from cereal or toast very disappointing.
Disliked: It did not look like the pictures. Our room was rundown and I would not say it looked clean. Especially the bathroom. Breakfast was terrible. Just a rundown hotel that was very expensive.

Not worth it, don’t waste...

Liked: For the price $149 a night I would expect the room to be clean. There was no fitted sheet on the bed. Just a top sheet, comforter not in a duvet and another top sheet, meaning every guest is sleeping on the same uncleaned mattress pad and comforter. There was hair all over in the shower, on the toilet and counter. It was hard to tell if the bathroom was cleaned. The worst part of the stay, the window didn’t close or lock. Anyone could have easily noticed the window was open a couple inches and came into the room. I had to push the couch up against it to make sure we were safe for the night. Don’t bother asking for extra blankets they don’t have them. The mattress was rock hard, the pillow cases ripped and you can tell they leave whatever the previous guests didn’t obviously use for the next person. It was hard to tell what was freshly washed and what was just hung back up. The shower is either scalding or ice cold there is no in between although the water pressure is very strong. Two driveways down there is a 7.8 star hotel for the same price. Definitely not a $149 a night hotel more like $69.99. The staff was very friendly but they weren’t able to resolve any of the above issues.

At least my 13 year...

Liked: Easy to find and friendly staff.
Disliked: Dirty, undetailed, and not professionally constructed. Unmanicured curb appeal. Fitness room was under construction. Pool was unfinished and filthy. No coffee pot in room. Coffee in the lobby was transparent. Ceiling tiles were popping out of the ceiling. Water damage on the walls in the hallway. Paint on carpets in room. Furniture was assembled incorrectly. No fan in bathroom. A/C cover was lopsided and missing the covers to the buttons (didn’t know how to operate it). My room happened to be at the back of the building where everyone went to smoke outside. It came through the A/C vent and into the room all night. The outside entrance was outside my door and didn’t have a lock on it so anyone could come and go from the building. My bed skirt wasn’t hanging even so you could see the box spring when entering the room. The breakfast presentation was very messy and none of the tables were wiped off after patrons left. The maintenance staff looked like they were off of the streets and not wearing uniforms. They were not identifiable. I’m very dissatisfied and disappointed because when I booked this room it advertised for $114/night online and I am not only being charged $200/ night through Booking.com but it shows up on GuestReservations.com for $89/night! I was totally scammed and really can’t afford it.
