Red Lion is conveniently located...

Liked: It is conveniently located right off the 101 so if you are going north or south you have quick access. Close to Old Town Eureka.
Disliked: The surroundings are plain. Not bad but you are just off the main travel route. Older hotel. Showing some wear. Not “electronically” as friendly as newer hotels. Continental breakfast used to have more offerings.

Liked: Very comfortable
Disliked: People on the floor under us smoking pot on their balcony and filling my room with it. Front desk just said weed is legal but I thought there was a no smoking policy

Disliked: Television didn't work. Front desk attendant was nice but wasn't sure how to address it. Eventually, packed up everything and moved to another room
