Good

Liked: Amazing location!!! Nestled inbetween Colorado River stunning views. Disappointed restaurant area closed for refurbishment as would of been fab eating there!
Disliked: Parking fee! Should be included in price as where else can you park?! Or complimentary especially as building work going on. Dog fee is pricey too.

Exceptional

Liked: Good food. View, rover, peaceful, friendly stsff.
Disliked: $20 per day parking fee. The only way to get there is by car! If you must have that extra money, include it as part of the rate. Gotcha fee is negative in otherwise lovely place.

Beautiful location, disappointing property!

Liked: The local at the Colorado River and overlooking the red cliffs was truly spectacular!
Disliked: The lodge was too expensive for what it offered. While the rooms seemed newly remodeled and pretty comfortable, the rest of the property (pool, gym, restaurant ) were pretty basic and outdated. In fact, because the front lobby was under construction, we had to check-in in the hallway/ entry to a restaurant (cafeteria style). Also, the lodge is about 25min drive to/ from town. Once at the lodge, there is only a simple eatery and not ever a small “store” to purchase a drink or a snack…

A good resort ruine

Liked: The staff was lovely. Its a beautiful venue.
Disliked: First of all, the property was undergoing a major renovation. This was NOT disclosed. Food choice was limited, in a temporary set up. No alcohol was available. Rooms had kitchenettes but no flatware, accessories or plates. Made no sense. Room rates should have been reduced due to a less than par food and service experience. We've stayed at this gem of a resort multiple times. I cannot see that the changes are for the better. Sorry.

Beautiful place to stay!

Liked: Beautiful property, clean and staff was very attentive when we needed more supplies.
Disliked: What I didn’t like is the extra fee for parking our car, just seems silly. I understand it makes sure people don’t bring multiple vehicles- maybe then limit it to 1 vehicle. Also, while I loved the rural atmosphere - make sure you know it’s a solid 30 mins to town or arches.
