Convenient Comfort Near New Jersey's Top Music Spots

Modern and no-frills, Red Carpet Inn - New Brunswick is a budget-conscious hotel just off U.S. Route 1, placing you within easy reach of New Brunswick’s bustling arts scene and major concert venues. With free private parking, an on-site restaurant and bar, and easy highway access, this is a practical pick for travelers coming in for a show.

Why Concert-goers love it

If you're heading to a gig at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center or even the Prudential Center, this spot makes a solid home base—both are about 25–30 miles away and easily accessible by car. The 24-hour front desk is great for late-night arrivals, and the quiet suburban setting helps you wind down after a loud night out. Free WiFi means you can upload your concert pics before you even hit the pillow.

Who this Hotel is great for

- Groups of friends looking for a budget-friendly base
- Solo travelers catching a long-awaited show
- Couples combining live music with a quick getaway
- Fans who prefer to decompress away from the noise
- Budget-conscious music lovers who don't need the frills

Food and Drink Options

There's an on-site restaurant and bar, making it easy to grab a bite before or after your show. While room service isn’t 24/7, the front desk can point you to several nearby eateries that stay open late. Breakfast isn’t officially included, but there are local diners and coffee spots just a short drive away for a morning refuel.

Nightlife Options

While the hotel itself keeps things quiet, you won’t be far from the bars and lounges of downtown New Brunswick. Whether you're into craft beers, cozy pubs, or live DJ sets, there’s something to match your post-concert energy just a few minutes down the road.

What People Say

Guests love the affordable rates and appreciate the free parking and WiFi. Many mention the easy location off Route 1 and the friendly staff at the front desk. The peaceful vibe is a nice contrast after a night of loud music.

Areas for Improvement

Some travelers note that the property is a bit dated and could use a refresh in places. While it's clean and functional, don’t expect luxury touches—but for the price, most agree it gets the job done.

The Bottom Line

A smart pick for concert-goers who want easy access to New Jersey venues without breaking the bank.

Passable

Disliked: The photo on line did not match what was there. There was no fridge, microwave, hairdryer or even a plastic bag for dirty clothes. No breakfast or even coffee. I only stayed because I didn't want to spend the next 2 weeks trying to get my money back and would never happen. I couldn't sleep because I was worried about my car since the area seemed not safe. The motel 6 was in the same parking lot and that was not desirable. For the money I could have stayed at the Holiday Inn in a safe environment with amenities. I was very disappointed. I also could have booked this room on line directly for less money than booking.com

By freeway, miles away from everywhere.

Liked: Room was spacious, working bath tub was a bonus.
Disliked: If you don't drive, no coffee shop nearby, so coffee and tea facility in the room would be nice, Or at least coffee in the reception area.

Disgusting to Steal from customers And think they won't find out especially a day they didn't stay

Liked: If I had to say anything. It would be that the wi wobblers write next door.
Disliked: In fact, that these incompetent group of family members stole money from my account. In the amount of $149 for October. 13 when I did not stay there on the 13th. I got there on the 15th. And they charged my card $25. I believe on a 16th or 17th of October. And then hours later they charged my card a $124. When booking even confirmed that the rates for October 13th was indeed. In fact, only a $124. So I'm coming to the conclusion that there's a sign group of individuals that work for hotels and/or own. These hotel properties that are doing these types of things on a regular basis, just like extended. Stay in piscataway with the Nigerian. General manager steiling from people's accounts and. Actually double and triple charging customers for a 1 day stay.
