Overall, not a comfortable suite.

Liked: Friendly staff and the location. The front porch, which was the only decent place to sit.
Disliked: The Murphy Beds in the farm house, these were not in the online description of the room. They were extremely difficult to pull down and push up when not in use. Please note, in order to have somewhere to sit, they have to be pushed up for the sofa underneath. The open plan of the suite. The online description stated 2 bedrooms, please note these are not separated by a door.

A different but fun experience...

Liked: I’d loved the staff! The caboose is more for the experience. If you’re looking for a large luxurious place to stay, then go somewhere else. It’s a simple caboose modified to let your kids say “we slept in a caboose.” The grounds are beautiful! The staff at the front office were kind and very helpful.
Disliked: The restaurant staff ran out of crayons. Not a deal breaker but they didn’t offer any paper when I said I was going to purchase something. The front desk did photocopy something for my kids to draw on while we waited though, I was just avoiding using screen time :) Again, not a huge deal, just be prepared with something if your kids get stir crazy while waiting.

Exceptional

Liked: Our Caboose was perfect! The inside is very well done, clean, & comfortable. The location is perfect. Central to all the Train attractions in the area.

Staying here is a must...

Liked: I loved everything ! The whole property was excellent!
Disliked: Bed was hard but I’ll catch up on sleep when I get back home.

Liked: The property was soooo cute and we loved our car we slept in. It was clean and comfortable!!! Perfect!!
Disliked: The only complaint.. eating at the restaurant we had to wait 1.5 hours to eat breakfast… since they were short staffed… but food was great… and hopefully that’s not the norm… there were only 8-10 groups eating at 9:30 am and we didn’t eat til 10:50 am. They apologized… and we ate and checked out.
