Liked: I booked a hotel through Booking.com as this building used to be my home during communist era. The building is nicely renovated and the rooms are small, but cozy. The location is great, and the garden facing room was quiet.
Disliked: While booking through Booking.com I paid attention to what was important for my stay and what was offered for the money. I read reviews, people liked the breakfast. I called few days ahead to make sure we can get the private, secure parking and was told yes by the receptionist. Upon arrival no private parking availability (after my questions a spot was found). No breakfast included in my (not inexpensive) hotel room. I asked for 2 separate beds since I was traveling with my brother before leaving the next day for my home in Canada. Unfortunately our room had one queen size bed. As we entered the room it felt very hot because AC was not working. The receptionist mentioned it. But not even an open window to air the room? Not a small bottled water? To top all of these insufficiencies the front desk made me feel like unwelcome guest to their fancy property. Maybe I should have spoken english, I may have received a warmer welcome in Prague, Czech Republic. Instead the front desk staff just kept arguing with the guest, displaying behavior I am yet to see in any hotel anywhere else in the world I have traveled. The parking costs 630 Kč!!! For one night. The hotel room 2350 Kč for one night. No breakfast included in that price?! The walk down memory lane a very bitter experience for me and my brother.

10/10 hotel for a reasonable...

Liked: This hotel ticks all the boxes for me - spacious room with modern amenities such as mini fridge, kettle with free tea bags, free bottled water, TV with both Czech and international channels and most importantly reliable wifi as I was working remotely during my stay. Location is also really good, next to a large park (nice view from the window). Also the staff was always nice and smiling.
Disliked: Nothing!
