Exceptional!

Liked: A warm welcome was the prelude to an indulgent few days in this exceptional residence. Beautifully appointed in a superb setting. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Liked: Beautiful property. Well furnished and in beautiful grounds. Picturesque countryside location.
Disliked: No restaurant. Nearest restaurants/cafés a short drive away.

Liked: Location fabulous. Beautiful grounds and gardens. The outdoor swimming pool was much appreciated given our stay was across a heat wave! Great service and very clean rooms with up to date decor.
Disliked: We stayed across a heat wave and the room was so, so hot. Although a fan was supplied, it was still very stuffy and boiling hot in the room. Additionally, a shower would have been good; there was only a bath in the ensuite.

Liked: Excellent location; marvellous facilities with pool, tennis court etc. Traditional luxury Manor House. Host (Frank & his wife) were friendly, helpful and made us feel at home.
Disliked: Nothing; it was all lovely,

Liked: I enjoyed the swimming pool and the fresh fruit at breakfast was wonderful.
Disliked: My husband was told off for looking for more milk one evening, if staff could check at breakfast whether guests required more milk etc that would be helpful.

A very relaxing, comfortable short...

Liked: Frank and staff were charming and keen to make sure I enjoyed my stay. This I did, and even extended my stay!The pool was immaculate and I swam twice a day. The location, garden full of roses and three extremely well behaved Fox Red Labradors added to the country house atmosphere.
