A beautiful building in a...

Liked: Location great. Just a few minutes walk from tube station. The en-suite single room was very comfortable. The staff were very kind, friendly and helpful. Complimentary tea and coffee 24 hours.
Disliked: I would have preferred tea/coffee making facilities in my bedroom rather than in the breakfast room. For rooms at the front there was quite a bit of road noise.

Pleasant for a one night...

Liked: Nice area. The hotel is very clean, ok for a night stay.
Disliked: Old building, we came during a heatwave, no air conditioning in the room, just a small ventilator. You can’t close the window completely and it is quite hard to manage it.

Very good

Liked: The hotel definitely exceeded my expectations. The location was ideal,the staff were lovely, it was spotless with such a relaxed atmosphere
Disliked: Nothing major but the mirrors in the room weren’t ideal for getting ready. One was high up that I couldn’t use it and the other had poor lighting but i managed

Gets the job done

Liked: It works. It is clean and in a good location. Gets the job done.
Disliked: The cleaning staff tossed my pillowcase in with theirs and lost it :( I wish we had the option to decline the daily cleaning— especially since we weren’t there for too long. The room size we had was pretty much a corner in the wall, we could barely find room for our suitcases and they had a chair in there that would’ve been better left out because there is literally no room for it. Also this has nothing to do with the hotel, but for those with pollen allergies— beware!! The trees that line these streets RAIN this pollen that flies into your eyes and mouth and feels like little thistles. Bring allergy meds or pop your umbrella when walking through these streets.

Superb

Liked: The location is very good, the staff are very helpful, and everything is clean.
Disliked: Just a couple of small things — no eggs at breakfast and the lift was a bit slow.
