Truly the most wonderful B&B

Liked: Outstanding welcome, very comfortable, amazing breakfast. All in all a truly wonderful stay. Highly recommended
Disliked: Travel instructions from booking werent perfect, but I found it in the end

Weekend Retreat

Liked: Helen is the most amazing host nothing is too much trouble and she thinks of every thing to make your stay fabulous. We had the breakfast and all I can say is best breakfast ever goes above and beyond.

Lovely property, excellent hostess, couldn’t...

Liked: Small b&b, only two letting rooms which suited us great. Ours was downstairs with its own access door. Bedroom was small but very comfortable, the wet room was great, very spacious. We never had such a fabulous breakfast, unique to Helen I should think. Would very definitely return if we were in the area again. Highly recommend.
Disliked: Signage to find it could be better - perhaps bigger and on both sides of the entrance drive rather than just one.

Exceptional

Liked: As other guests have stated Helen is a lovley , friendly and polite hostess.The property itself is nice and quiet surrounded by fields but in easy distance of shopping, petrol stations, motorway ect.The room iteslf is cosy and has a wet room if like myself you struggle in and out of the bath.Breakfast is top notch,in fact i couldnt eat it all.Would definitely stay again.Great for couples or singles.

Excellent!

Liked: Perfect for our 2 night stay. Comfy room with toiletries, tea/coffee in room, secure parking, lovely breakfast cooked fresh when required. Helen went out of her way to ensure we were happy with everything, even went out of her way to take us into Sheffield and pick us up after our concert.If we return to Sheffield area will definitely stay here again.
Disliked: Really can not fault anything.

Bad

Disliked: We didn't get to stay here as the owner sent us a text message on the morning we were due to stay to say she couldn't accommodate us due to her having shingles.It didn't occur to me until a few days later that our payment was never taken so i now assume she cancelled our stay days before letting us know. Not happy. I'll not be re booking .
