Food and Drink Options

While there's no on-site restaurant, Ravencar Farm B&B offers packed lunches for daytime adventures, and breakfast is available to help you recover from a late night. A fridge and kettle in your room make it easy to stash snacks or brew a late-night tea. Local pubs and eateries are a short drive away for post-show meals.

Nightlife Options

This isn’t a party hotel—but that’s kind of the point. After the show, enjoy a relaxing drink on the terrace or under the stars in the picnic area. For more action, Sheffield’s bars and clubs are within easy reach by taxi or car.

What People Say

Guests praise the spotless rooms, friendly hosts, and beautiful countryside setting. Many mention the tranquility and say it’s a great place to recharge after a busy day or night out. The strong Wi-Fi and comfortable beds also get frequent shout-outs.

Areas for Improvement

It’s in a rural area, so you’ll likely need a car or taxi to get to and from concerts—public transport is limited late at night. There’s also no on-site dining beyond breakfast, but local options are nearby if you plan ahead.

The Bottom Line

If you want a quiet, comfortable base near Sheffield’s music scene with countryside charm, Ravencar Farm B&B hits all the right notes.

Wonderful

Liked: Authenticity about the place. Just like home from home. Helen was a perfect hostess! After only just meeting her, we left as friends and we will definitely return. She couldn’t do enough for you! Welcoming you with tea and cakes! It was a shame we only stayed for 1 night. Breakfast was delicious. Starting with Helens granola, Greek yogurt, honey and fresh berries which was absolutely delicious, I will carry on making this myself. Followed by the fabulous full English, Wilson our Red Labrador even got a sausage. Before leaving we even had a coffee and another lovely chat with Helen! Perfect stay
Disliked: Nothing not to like

A warm welcome, comfort and...

Liked: We received such a lovely warm welcome from our host Helen. A lovely cup of tea and home made muffins were given to us on arrival and Ruby, our dog, got some treats. Our room had everything you could want and was spotlessly clean. Beds were super comfy, there were lots of things on offer for breakfast, we had fruit, oats and honey and a delicious cooked breakfast. Helen really is the perfect B and B host and we thoroughly recommend staying at Ravencar Farm.
Disliked: There is nothing not to like!
