Beautifully situated on the cliff at Ravenscar overlooking Robin Hood's Bay Raven Hall Hotel is set in the scenic North York Moors. Its 90 acres of grounds include a 9-hole cliff-top golf course. It is a gateway to many coastal and country walks with an old railway line nearby. Guests can make use of free Wi-Fi and there is free parking on site. Guests can enjoy fine dining in the Panorama Restaurant with magnificent views or relax in front of the log fire. Leisure facilities include an indoor swimming pool sauna games room croquet and tennis courts. All 52 bedrooms provide private en suite bathrooms including 2 premier rooms for a special occasion. Each has a TV and facilities for making tea and coffee. Disliked: The restaurant has been moved, and no longer overlooks the sea.No bar area due to renovation works.

Interesting stay on clifftop with...

Liked: Truly amazing place speaking of history and another age, being a remnant of a nineteenth century failed property development. On this basis it makes an interesting visit. Sea views spectacular. Other aspects are less noteworthy
Disliked: Dinner was lacklustre, breakfast good.

Liked: The location and views were amazing and the food was very good.
Disliked: I didn't like the fact that dogs were allowed in the restaurant barking and the smell of wet dog made it so we were put off our food. I also feel Booking.com quests get to be allocated the worst rooms ie we always get a room top of the hotel attic rooms, when staying for 2 nights coffee and milk not replenished after 1st night.
