Lesson learned.

Liked: It was close to the event we were attending
Disliked: I know management can’t predict who they allow to stay at the facilities on short term basis however the lack of noise control amongst a few things for the “long termers” was imminent. Sadly the fear of safety for management was more prominent than the safety of those actually paying for their stay. Not to mention a young family of girls. I did not enjoy my stay and I felt extremely unsafe for myself and my girls thanks to the neighbors in room 10. I had zero sleep and decided to vacate and travel back home on the 3 hour drive back and take the risk than stay another night. Management did however reimburse my last nights stay. They handled that part well. Just a shame the long termers have to ruin it for the people who purely just wanted a place to rest while enjoying Auckland on short term at the same time. The lack of tea/coffee facilities were up there too and clean dishes were limited for a family of 4. Overall the place wasn’t a bad stay however just lacked a bit of care and what they allow on their premises. It has potential for growth with the right mindset and support (that’s not govt funded)

Disappointing

Disliked: Customer service could improve, no complimentary milk available. No dishwash liquid, no tea towels. Sliding door between bedroom & bathroom wouldn't stay closed. No lounge chairs available, used outdoor seating.Disappointing.

It was fine.

Liked: Location was close to the venue as planned.Beds were comfortable, shower was decent.
Disliked: Laundry was lacking no iron to tidy up shirts. Toilet had no locks nor sound proofing which is uncomfortable.About an hour before arrival we were rung up to say that they cancelled our booking. No plan to compensate us properly. That is terrible service, but we then got recalled to let us know they found a space for us. Very questionable booking systems, would not stay here again for that reason alone.No breakfast whatsoever.

Shocking!

Liked: The free packet of unused condoms we found under the bed
Disliked: This accommodation is used as emergency housing, there is no free wifi as advertised, hardly no kitchen bits and pieces, there is no one on reception, they do not answer your requests, there is no mini mart as advertised in reception. Staff lie to you about fixing the free wifi by contacting the boss but actually driving of the premises instead of getting back to you. I travel around NZ quite a bit on a budget for sporting events so I don’t pay for 5 star accommodation but what I do pay for is what I read in there advertising from booking.com. This place needs to be blacklisted. We were there in May and the Xmas tree was still up in reception, when you arrive you need to call someone and they will be with you in 5 - 10 minutes, he drove up the drive to give me my key and for me to pay. The one thing I have learnt from this is to inspect what I have paid for before I actually hand over my money. We had to dine out each night as I refused to eat from the kitchen things. There were 3 of us staying with 1 glass supplied, 2 forks no cups and ……………..I’m too busy this place is just shit

Passable

Liked: Clean and tidy but very basic. No staff at reception so had to ring and wait outside for them to arrive.

Do not stay here

Liked: Nothing aside from the place giving us somewhere to sleep and it was close to where we needed to go
Disliked: We paid top dollar for a family room, the TV was not working, the door was drafty, there was next to no dinner plates, there was no cutlery at all.We were kept up at night by revving cars and people in the early hours of the morning.

Liked: Being only 10Mins drive from main city
Disliked: Shocking service. Waited 30-40 mins to be let into our room. Had to call multiple times to get through to anyone to actually come down and let us in. 1st Room No working tv no working aircon Room was very unclean. Got moved to second room to A working tv and aircon but another mess was soon to be found. Very little cleaning done here at all. Shower won’t drain previous peoples hair all stuck in drain. Shower pressure very low and doesn’t take long before it’s ankle deap. Complex is very loud and messy lots of rubbish around the place. Other residents blocking stairs and being loud in general. would not recommend to anyone to come stay here. Will not be coming back!
