Disliked: Old. Not nice shower. Thin walls. Not worth $400/night

Liked: Property was nice and we loved that they had a separate adults only pool so you can relax away from family and kids. Check in was smooth and staff was great. However my husband and I won’t be staying here again, we went to the restaurant and our service was horrible. I’m never the type to give a bad review but our service did not meet our expectations for a nice hotel like this. After lunch, our friends checked in and we went to the pool and then bar area for food and drinks, again the service was horrible. Waitress and staff (for food) was horrible and had attitudes.
Disliked: The restaurant staff. Rude and unprofessional. Unfortunately a nice hotel should meet all standards. With the price, next time we will be staying somewhere else.

A wonderful time and cannot...

Liked: Dinner at the Veranda was delicious. The cocktails were very well made. The grounds at RBI are stunning and have that perfect old Califonia feel. Our "standard" room and balcony were nice and large and close to the Bernardo pool, for super easy access. The chaises at the pool are really comfortable!
Disliked: At the Bernardo pool, there needed to be more towels and more drinking water. Yes, it was a busy time because of the 4th of July holiday, but several times there were no towels nor drinking water. The breakfast at the Veranda was not good - bread stale and egg dish was chewy
