It's in the city, but...

Liked: The rooms were huge and had a nice veranda. The staff was professional and accomodating, to try to keep our parties nearby. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool, which had lots of inflatable toys. There's a separate adults-only pool for those who want a quieter swim. The property is lovely - lots of trees and walkways.The restaurant was delicious, but pricey. We ate one meal there and another at a nearby restaurant. There are many options for dining at all price points in the vicinity.There were several corporate events/weddings/birthdays while we were there.
Disliked: I probably would have enjoyed it more if I golfed.

Liked: Staff was so friendly and accommodating. Veranda restaurant was delicious. We ate dinner and breakfast there. Michael, our waiter was amazing when we had dinner. Even though kitchen was backed up he made sure to communicate and comped a dessert for for the long wait. Debbie our waitress for breakfast was so friendly and efficient. The ladies at the little café were super sweet and definitely did a great job getting orders out ASAP during morning coffee rush. Quality of food, service and amenities were completely worth every penny.

Liked: very spacious and good workout facility.
Disliked: slowness of check in and check out. Not properly staffed until there was an event day. Parking isn’t ample for size of property and beds were very uncomfortable. Bedding old. Entire property needs updating throughout.
