Liked: Great location. Entry to Rocky Mt National Park is pretty much behind the property. Lots of restaurants around and 7 minutes to downtown Estes

Liked: Excellent location right down the road from national park enterance. The lodge and property was very well maintained clean and friendly. I wish we had more time to stay longer.

Superb
Liked: We reserved three cabins for our group, which worked out perfectly because it offered us the privacy we needed while still allowing us to come together for meals and group activities.
Disliked: The community is removed from downtown Estes Park which required us to constantly use our cars.

Loved the staff, location, and...
Liked: The location was amazing and super close to everything! The staff was overly friendly and so helpful with recommendations. Wild life was plentiful and so fun to see. Full equipped kitchen for cooking. Free laundry was awesome (bring laundry pods or .50 for detergent) also included six beach towels for the pool. Full sized appliances. A huge binder with an info on everything from RMNP to restaurants and shops. Clubhouse with games, books, and dvds to check out and popsicles in the fridge. The pool was large and very clean.
Disliked: One of the hottubs was cold for a couple days but they definitely were trying to fix it.Another one looked very cloudy so we didn’t want to go in and the third was extremely hot so my kids didn’t want to go in. It was very hot for a few days and there is no AC which wasn’t very advertised but something to be aware of. The upstairs was pretty unbearable at night. We did find fans in the closets. Hammocks were pretty old and sank to the ground when we tried to lay on them. But not a deal breaker It’s advertised as up to 6 but as a family of 5 the living area was not conducive to family hangout. There was one small couch that fits two and two chairs and cramped. Not a huge deal if mostly outdoors but made it pretty impossible for a family movie night. Had to pull up a kitchen chair for all 5 of us to fit. Overall I’d go back because it was cute but I feel like I definitely paid the summer premium price for location .
