Ramblas Hotel

Nice place to stay and...

Liked: Location was super, everything you like to visit in Barcelona is doable by walking. We was in 8th floor and enjoy the view to city panorama. The breakfast was Spanish style and varied.
Disliked: There were three of us in the room, but we were only given one room key. While waiting for a taxi in the front door of the hotel, someone tried to steal my backpack, but this is not the hotel fault.

Very good

Liked: Excellent breakfast, great selection, fresh orange juice, tortilla, queso manchego
Disliked: The restaurant was expensive

Disappointing

Liked: Location was good. Breakfast was good. Check in was horrible. It took 2 hours the day we arrived. And ther were about 10 0f us waiting. And I still do not understand why they could not have reserved our room with 2 beds and we had to wait for the next day. We made our reservation in february for the 18 of april. We had booked for a whole week while most people reserved for way less then that. Also there was only 1 chair in the room and not a comfortable one at that so we were forced to sit on our beds all the time.
Disliked: Check in for sure. 8

Liked: Excellent location right in the heart of the goings on. Balcony was nicely to have
Disliked: Air con didn’t work very strongly so it was very hot during the night

Perfect hotel for a 4-night...

Liked: Great location, friendly staff, easy check-in, spoke English. Balcony view was amazing, booked a terrace room with two twin beds.
Disliked: No air conditioning, uncomfortable beds
