Liked: Staff were okay
Disliked: I got an upgrade for $20 per night, when I got to the room it was not the room in the photos for the upgrade. It was completely different, not similar at all. Then the TV in our room was broken, and we had to be moved to a different room. Which I’m pretty sure was the room I was supposed to be in with the upgrade even though staff had told me there were none available.

Disliked: Had to get washing powder from reception.

Liked: The view was beautiful. Room was a good size, clean and tidy. Facilities are great. Shower pressure was good. Staff members were lovely.

Disliked: We stayed at Ramada on our first 2 nights on our trip throughout NZ. The receptionist told us parking on the street was free over the weekend until 8am Monday and I even double checked after coming back in from getting our luggage out of the car. He was adamant. So as it being the first day in NZ we didn’t know how any of it worked since the sign said “Times vary zone”. Now we’ve got multiple parking fines. Can’t trust the receptionist

Liked: Location is good - close to Skycity and a very short walk to Queen St. Entrance is a little sheltered and off the street. After hours check in and early checkout were easy.
Disliked: Room wasn’t serviced so we didn’t get replacement towels or amenities.

Overall excellent

Liked: Clean, comfortable, great location
Disliked: Arrived at 06:30 in the morning and wasn’t aware that the front desk wasn’t staffed until 8am. Had to wait outside with a few bags after a long flight for about 45 mins until someone let me into the building by leaving.
