Friendly staff- hot room!

Liked: Very helpful reception staff. Functional rooms. Good shower. Fan in room.
Disliked: The room was hot- a fan was provided but it was noisy, and too noisy to have the window open. Air conditioning would have been nice in this hot weather we have at the moment.

Liked: Reception staff are were extremely nice and helpful.
Disliked: When we checked in late after a very long day and there were a group of older drunk men making vile comments about my 16 year old daughter. When we got to our room, I found cockroaches, however, when I went to the reception, he apologised and immediately moved us to another room. I couldn’t sleep well at all for fear of more cockroaches, the room was very hot but at least it had a big fan to help. Rooms could do with a thorough clean and update. It was affordable so I guess you get what you pay for.

Liked: I met three members of staff and each was excellent. Friendly, welcoming, helpful and very pleasant
Disliked: I don't understand how a motorway based hotel can charge extra for vehicles. How else can guests get there? Why not simply include it in the price up front? I was a shame that the coffee machine at reception was not working considering the entire service station had closed when I arrived, but I'm guessing that's a temporary thing. It's also somewhat misleading the Google maps suggest a room price, but the price paid was around double that. I just like everything up front, clear and not the feeling of secretive add ons. However, it was a necessary, pleasant stay made so by the great reception staff.
