The staff are helpful and courteous. The room had a very, very strong bad air freshener smell. If you are at all fragrance senitive you will be very unhappy - it was just too strong. There is also no screen on the door to keep the door open to get fresh air. Otherwise, the room is clean and it's a convenient place to stay.

Disliked: The air freshener for the room made for a rough stay.

Pillows and beds were horrible!!

Liked: Good location and indoor pool
Disliked: The mattresses and pillows were of the worst quality possible. I would rather spend a bit more and stay at a place to get a good sleep

Not recommended - especially if...

Liked: Nothing really. Parking good.
Disliked: Very dated. Smelled bad. Long way out of Portland - nowhere near at all. No breakfast. Gym - everything wrong about it! Staff inattentive and disinterested. Poor overall and could not recommend it. Worse stay of our 3 week US trip.

Grateful pets were allowed, wished...

Liked: The staff were very kind and friendly, and the hotel allowed dogs which was necessary for us.
Disliked: The room was not very clean, nor were the hallways. The mattresses were very soft and both my partner and I had back pain from sleeping on them. It was easy to get to downtown Portland from the hotel, but still required a 15-20 minute drive depending on traffic.
