Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Montreal

Good for a night while...

Liked: Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast basic but ok. Quiet for sleeping, comfortable beds. Great shower. Didn't use the pool.
Disliked: Air conditioner didn't work and had to change rooms after our late checkin- staff assisted us move our luggage and got the new keys for us but frustrated it had to happen. Hallway carpets dated.

Enjoyable and relaxing

Liked: Staff were friendly and spoke English which was good for me as I do not speak french
Disliked: Some guests were rude and first room we stayed in had no hot water. But we moved to another floor and it was quite nice.

Not worth the money

Liked: Friendly staff, decent breakfast, very budget conscience hotel..
Disliked: Room overlooking the service road / highway Blvd Decarie, very noisy, windows are old, and are definitely not sound proof. More importantly, the room provided was in the annex, bath room smelled of mold... not very pleasant. This was highlighted to the staff. Needs a significant refresh, very stale somewhat run down.

Liked: The location - it wasn't very difficult to get to the main attractions
Disliked: Hotel does not seem maintained, smelly and dirty corridors, creaking bed, lift acts funny, the breakfast was horrible, not things you'd expect from a hotel. Also parking is not guaranteed, I've stayed at so many hotels in different parts of the world and never faced issues with parking.

Disliked: Breakfast was poor. Limited choices and disposable cutlery and crockery! Not impressive!
