Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Gatineau/Manoir du Casino

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious evening meal at the restaurant. Our included breakfast was excellent. The employees were friendly and efficient throughout the hotel. We highly recommend this well located hotel.

Liked: Large, clean, comfortable rooms including some thoughtful extras.
Disliked: Surprising - no laundry bag in the closet.

Liked: Staff pleasant, hotel under renovation. Cleanliness of the lobby.
Disliked: We had booked a superior suite a few weeks prior to our arrival which was not available upon arrival, we were proposed. King side room with complimentary breakfast instead at reduced price.we would have appreciated having been informed in advance of the unavailability of the room. Note hotel is under renovation.

Liked: they were honest about their address
Disliked: When we got to the room, there was some black hair and lint on and in the bed and the bath/shower had some dark dirty ring (clearly wasnt cleaned properly) Was supposed to have free breakfast in the morning but they wanted to charge us $12.50 per breakfast. The coffee tasted like burnt. Finally, at checkout, the “manager” walked all the way to my car to tell me i didnt pay for my stay and was forcing me to come inside when i just wanted to leave after this terrible experience. They were trying to charge me another $273.83 ($223.83 for the room and a $50 security deposit) THANK GOD I ONLY PUT MY NECESSARY FUNDS IN MY CHECKING I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN SCAMMED BY THEM!

Very comfy bed, nice room

Liked: Location was good for our travel to Gatineau
Disliked: No Hot tub, pool chemicals very very strong so we didn’t go in it, we understand your in middle of renovations,
